Dermatology – Lesions
Vascular Lesions
- Spider veins, broken capillaries, and hemangiomas can be treated well with diode lasers
- A multi-wavelength diode laser with 810nm, 940nm and 980nm allow to target these lesions efficiently. 810nm is suitable to treat superficial vascular lesions while 940 penetrates deeper into the skin and allows to treat deeper lesions. 980nm is used when effective absorption of hemoglobin and water is required.
Pigmented Lesions
- Pigmented lesions are often treated with diode lasers of 1064nm as this wavelength shows a deep penetration while minimizing the risk of pigmentary changes in the skin.
- Diode laser treatment with 1927nm allows to remove certain pigmentations and sun damage stains of the skin. Uneven skin tones and textures can be treated as well.
